IF YOU ARE A LENDER

Designer and high end dresses do great! While not limited to high end fashion/runway… think Chi Chi London, Thread and Needle, etc.

The list price is automatically based on a 4 night rental, however dates and pricing can be edited before checkout to account for additional dates if requested. The rental period starts when the dress arrives. The lender will make sure to send it out in advance so you have the dress on the date you chose. For example, if you selected dates December 1-7, the lender will ship the dress on the 29th of November or earlier to make sure it is in your hands on the 1st. You can ship back the dress on the 7th and when the lender receives it we will mark it as on time return.

If you do not use the app to complete the transaction the Apparel Assurance is void, and we cannot guarantee the renter will return your item in the same condition or return the item at all.

Delivery is set at £8 per item roundtrip. If you order multiple items the shipping is higher as the weight of the dresses doubles or triples depending on how many dresses you order. If you order from the same lender, an additional item will add £5 more onto the cost of shipping.

Once a rental request has been approved and the renter debited the amount owing, Luxeaisle will hold the rental money to ensure the security of both parties involved. Within 48 hours following the commencement date of the rental period, Luexaisle will release those funds to you, the lender, subject to any dispute claims by the renter.

In this case, you should contact the renter immediately to arrange a new return time. If this does not suit you, you have another pending rental immediately following, or you have not heard from the renter, please contact Luxeaisle at hello@luxeaisle.com  Luexaisle late policy will then be enacted in such circumstances where it is deemed necessary.

If you choose to cancel a rental at any time, the renter will be refunded the full amount of the rental price. You will then be debited the cost of any service fees imposed by Luexaisle.

IF YOU ARE A RENTER

You, as a renter, have the option of renting items listed through Luxeaisle for periods of 4 or 8 days. If you wish to rent an item for a period longer than either of these options, simply request another booking immediately following your initial one..

You can request to book an item for rental at any time. To avoid disappoint, it is recommended that you request to book items sooner rather than later to guarantee it’s yours for the dates you want! Be sure to also note Luxeaisle’s cancellation policy, and that you will only be refunded the full rental amount, minus any service fees, when requesting a cancellation before the item has been shipped.

After you submit a request to book an item for rental, and once the lender of that item has accepted your request within 24 hours, you will be debited the full amount owing for the rental. Luxeaisle holds this amount in order to guarantee the security of both parties to the transaction, and only releases the amount to the lender of an item when the item has been shipped back.

This is something you must discuss directly with the lender of the item rented. If they are flexible, and have to back-to-back bookings following yours, they will likely be happy to re-negotiate an alternative arrangement to return the item. However, in the case that the lender requires the item to be returned at the initially agreed-upon date (that is, the end of your rental period) for whatever reason, Luxeaisle will impose its policy for late returns and you will be charged the relevant fees under this.

Under each listing, the lender of the relevant item will have specified whether or not they are willing to allow you, the renter, to try on their item prior to the rental commencing. If so, you will have to organise the specifics of trying on any items directly with the renter, as Luxeaisle is not involved in organising any try-ons of the items listed on the site.

You pay a £6 insurance fee to cover small, fixable damages (up to 350 worth of repairs). If an item has a larger damage to it, or is lost, stolen, or unfixable, we will have to charge you the replacement cost of the item, or current monetary value of the item. Just note, we work with you to find the lowest price possible to replace the item.

While it is unfortunate, items that are rented out experience normal wear and tear as well as other damages. If you receive an item that has already been damaged, please notify us immediately and schedule a ‘Fit Return’ within 24 hours and we will refund you in full once the lender gets the item back to them.

First thing to do: check the tracking provided on the site under your profile. Sometimes items get delivered and someone else brought them inside, the doorman has it, it’s in your mailbox, etc. If the item is late and is on its way, you still will get the full 7 days, your rental will be extended. If possible, put a few days buffer on your one week rental just in case of any postal delays. For example, if your event is on the Sunday, have it arrive the latest Thursday, so you can have a couple days buffer just in case! If the lender is late on sending the item, or hasn’t sent it, notify us immediately and we will look into it. We can either arrange to have another item sent to you if you cannot wait for the other garment to arrive.

YOU MUST FIT RETURN within 24 hours for a full refund. If you do not, you will receive a credit on your account.

If you cancel within 48 hours of placing your order, you will be refunded in the form of your original payment. Any cancellation made after 48 hours and before 7 days will result in a credit to your account.

Any cancellation made 7 days after you place your order will result in a credit to your account less a £10 cancellation fee for keeping the item reserved and limiting other Style Lenders from renting it.
